Summary
Stacksona Gate helps teams add human review to AI agent workflows. It gives reviewers an inbox for sensitive or risky agent actions, gives admins controls for agents and rules, and gives developers an API for requesting decisions before an agent proceeds.
Who this article is for
Use this article if you are new to Stacksona Gate and want to understand what it does.
What Stacksona Gate does
Stacksona Gate is a decision and evidence layer for AI agent tasks. It does not run your agent for you. Instead, your agent calls Stacksona Gate when it reaches a step that may need review.
Stacksona Gate can:
  • Log AI agent task activity.
  • Route guarded actions to a human reviewer.
  • Return approval or rejection decisions to the agent.
  • Store audit records that can be exported later.
  • Support agent API keys, tool rules, inbox review, and admin-managed settings.
Typical workflow
  1. An AI agent starts a task.
  2. The agent logs useful task events to Stacksona Gate.
  3. Before a sensitive action, the agent asks Stacksona Gate for a decision.
  4. Stacksona Gate either:
    • Allows the action automatically.
    • Rejects the action automatically.
    • Sends the request to a human reviewer.
  5. If review is required, a reviewer approves or rejects the request in the inbox.
  6. The agent receives the decision by polling or webhook and continues accordingly.
What Stacksona Gate is not
Stacksona Gate is not a workflow engine, agent runtime, or identity provider. Your existing agent framework still runs the workflow. Stacksona Gate sits beside it as the human-review, policy, and audit layer.
